Wyoming falls the furthest down in the wage gap

Wyoming holds the biggest wage gap in the U.S. with women only earning 64 cents to every dollar that men earn.

A collective $2.1 billion is lost by Wyoming women every year and more than one fourth of female led households of Wyoming’s population earn below the poverty level.

Women in every state face a gender wage gap with Wyoming, Louisiana, West Virginia, North Dakota and Utah having the largest gap.

Although no state has equal pay to men yet, New York and Delaware women earn 89 cents to every dollar creating hope for the end of gender wage gaps.
